Policies & Procedures

Cancellations and Refunds
Camp Charger reserves the right to change or cancel any class or program. This includes changes to program or class offerings and instructors. Efforts will be made to assign campers affected by such a change or cancellation to another available class or course. A complete refund will be given in those cases where other program placement is not possible. Parents will be notified as soon as possible of this situation.

A $75.00 cancellation fee will be assessed for each session cancelled by the parent. This includes cancellations due to vacation schedules, conflicting activities, and absences.

Camp Charger registration closes the Friday before each session begins. Campers are only allowed to attend camp sessions once all required registration information has been received and all outstanding camp tuition has been paid. Session spaces are offered on a “first come, first registered & paid” basis – late registrations may be declined if there isn’t space to accommodate the late camper.

Dress Code
Appropriate attire is required. Campers may wear shorts, T-shirts, socks and tennis shoes. No sandals or flip-flops please! If a camper arrives at Camp Charger wearing inappropriate attire, appropriate clothing for the day will be found for them in the Used Uniform room.

Campers staying for the full day of Camp Charger will eat lunch from 12:15pm – 12:45pm in the MAC or outside on the picnic tables. Campers should bring a sack lunch each day. Parents who would like to bring their child lunch should ensure that the lunch is dropped off no later than 12:00pm.

Cell Phone Use
The use of cell phones, iPhones, iPads, and other electronics is not permitted during Camp Charger. Campers may use the office phone if a phone call needs to be made. Should this become a problem, phones/electronics will be collected and given back at the end of the day.

Camp Charger is a safe, fun, exciting, and caring environment for children to grow and learn. Appropriate behavior is expected from all campers, and discipline will be expected and enforced in line with the Trinity Episcopal School Handbook. Any camper who cannot behave in a manner appropriate for Camp Charger will be given ‘3 Strikes’. First offense will result in removal from the classroom and call home, second offense will result in being sent home for the day, and third offense will result in removal from the session.

Snacks will be provided to campers throughout the day. If your child has dietary restrictions or specific nutritional guidelines or restrictions, please indicate these on the general registration or inform the camp staff at check-in. Campers are welcome to pack/bring their own snacks if the camp snacks are not to their liking.

Early Pick-Up/Late Arrival
Please come to the MAC front office, located in the MAC foyer to sign your child in or out when picking up early or arriving late. If you know ahead of time that you will need to pick up early, please let the staff know so they can do their best to make sure your camper is ready to leave on time.

Emergency Closing
In case of weather alerts and other emergencies, Camp Charger will alert parents via email as to closings or late starts/early closings. Although summer weather emergencies are unlikely, it’s always best to be prepared!

In case of emergency during Camp Charger, camp staff can be reached directly at 409-789-3722.
